03 / Behind the noise
Meet the apes.
BIG HOOKS.
SHARP TEETH.
The Sad Apes make melodic punk with a restless streak. Think if Fugazi played pop punk: tangled guitars, hooks that get under your skin, and choruses built to be shouted back.
Brandy writes the songs, plays guitar, and sings, bringing Idaho roots by way of El Paso. Alex holds down the bass and adds backup vocals, James drives the drums, and Nathaniel brings the second guitar. Four people making a beautiful racket.
